We are seeking a talented individual for the role of Slot Tech Manager. Success in this role requires the following qualifications and skills:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage slot technical support staff and oversee slot-related projects.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure excellent guest experience and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to Oaklawn's Core Values and Standards of Behavior.
• Handle slot machine installations, moves, conversions, and maintenance.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline technical staff.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with safety procedures.
• Monitor gaming operations and security policies to protect assets.
• Provide excellent guest service at all times.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of electronic gaming devices.
• Manage installation and removal of gaming bases, chairs, and signage.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
• Schedule technical team members and review operational procedures.
• Generate reports and maintain records accurately.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Motivate staff and develop their skills.
• Develop expertise in new slot technologies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Train slot technicians and oversee internal controls.
• Follow internal procedures for machine removal, installation, and maintenance.
• Adhere to Title 31 procedures.
• Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.
• Assist with marketing promotions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the shop and floor areas.
• Communicate effectively with external vendors and manage relationships.
• Represent the company professionally, aligning with its values.
• Evaluate organizational processes and support business goals.
• Follow purchasing policies and stay informed on gaming laws and regulations.
• Promote positive guest relations and maintain confidentiality.
• Handle multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain high standards of organization and attention to detail.
• Possess knowledge of the gaming industry and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize computer skills and communication devices effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old and capable of performing all essential duties. Qualifications include:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in slot management or related field.
• Electronics or computer certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• Guest service experience required.
• Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Slot systems.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

May include staff development, training, rewards, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Must qualify for necessary licenses and permits per regulations.
