Key Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance.
• Following diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and using precision instruments.
• Removing defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools.
• Adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Controlling downtime by educating production workers on preventive maintenance techniques.
• Fabricating repair parts using machine shop equipment.
• Responding rapidly to mechanical maintenance requests.
• Preparing maintenance reports by analyzing and summarizing trends.
• Maintaining technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
• Ensuring a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

The ideal Maintenance Mechanic will possess:

• Strong equipment maintenance skills.
• Expertise in electrical and mechanical repairs.
