Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer
A well-established manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team! This company is a leader in its market, committed to both customer satisfaction and employee development. They offer excellent benefits, a supportive work environment, and long-term growth opportunities.
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering SOPs using best practices in manufacturing engineering.
- Participate in concurrent evaluation and quality assurance design reviews.
- Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Design and procure tools and equipment.
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve production issues.
- Lead training sessions for assemblers to improve and implement new processes.
- Prepare and manufacture prototypes using principles of concurrent engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and prevention skills.
- Experience with MRP systems is preferred.
- Background in metal fabrication, welding, and topcoat applications is a plus.
